Brisbane Milk Supplies supply diary products to businesses around Brisbane, supplying many cafes and small businesses in both north and south Brisbane markets. When Brisbane Milk approached Kirbi Solutions about upgrading their phone system they had only one requirement and that was to replace their aging on-prem VoIP system with something new that provided the same functionality as their existing system.
We sat down with the business owner and had a discussion about what an ideal voice system for taking orders might look like and we listened to how the business worked using the existing system. It became evident very quickly that mobility of the staff taking orders was highly desirable, as was removing the necessity for on-prem equipment. Another issue that was highlighted was the quality of the voice communications left by customers in voicemail where on occasion it was impossible to understand what the customer was ordering due to the quality of the voicemail recording. Cost and availability were also highlighted as concerns as power failures on-prem, resulted in the phone system being unavailable.
Kirbi Solutions proposed a move from on-prem VoIP to Microsoft Teams voice with direct routing using Anynode software SBC. This solution provided the following benefits to Brisbane Milk
